Flash Raven Studio

Vermont native Zoé Bedell crafts functional and decorative pottery at her studio in Stowe. Inspired by the creative freedom inherent in working with clay, her creations are characterized by exuberant experimentation in texture, color and movement.

Most work is dishwasher and microwave safe, assuming it fits in either. Pieces are unique by intent, bowls, tumblers or mugs of a similar size and shape will always have an element specific to the piece that makes them sisters but not twins.

Each piece is made by hand using a combination of wheel throwing or hand building, both often incorporating custom stamped elements, additions and texture. This process results in unique and complex creations crafted with care and curiosity.
